General Duties and Responsibilities
- Abide by all policies and procedures of Concord Tool & Manufacturing including but not limited to: Code of Conduct, Safety, Attendance, and general work rules.
- Attend all regularly scheduled shifts and be available for overtime hours as needed
- Perform all assigned duties in a timely effort with integrity and strong effort.
- Keep assigned work areas clean and sanitary at all times while containing and reporting any and all workplace safety hazards or conditions.
- Ensure knowledge of and maintain compliance with the Quality Policy of Concord Tool & Manufacturing.
Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Reconcile accounts
- Prepare journal entries for the general ledger
- Prepare financial statements for reporting purposes
- Assist with forecasting and budgeting
- Perform internal audits
- Help implement internal control measures to ensure regulatory compliance
- Perform other assignments and duties as required and/or assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 4-Year Degree, Accounting/Finance – Required
- Strong Cost Accounting Background, including Standard Cost Inventory, Variances, Bills of Material, Routings, Machine Rates, etc. – Required
- Experience with Financial Statement Analysis, Month-End Closing and Journal Entries – Required
- Experience with Microsoft Office Applications, including Strong Excel Skills – Required
- Working Knowledge of AR, AP, General Ledger and Purchasing – Required
- Knowledge of ERP System Implementation – Preferred
- Working Knowledge of GAAP – Preferred
- Manufacturing Background – Preferred
- Automotive Industry Experience – Helpful
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL – Helpful
Other duties as assigned by management.
