Overseeing the tasks of the maintenance technicians; performing tasks such as upkeep, repairing, landscaping, pest control, and landscaping; performing plumbing and carpentry work, providing emergency and unscheduled repairs.

Attend all regularly scheduled shifts and be available for overtime hours as needed

  • Perform all assigned duties in a timely effort with integrity and strong effort.
  • Keep assigned work areas clean and sanitary at all times while containing and reporting any and all workplace safety hazard or conditions.
  • Ensure knowledge of and maintain compliance with the Quality Policy of Concord Tool & Manufacturing.

Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all safety, failsafe, and ergonomic features are functional.
  • Mechanical/electrical set up and adjustments of equipment before production.
  • Performs assigned preventive and scheduled maintenance on all equipment and machinery.
  • Corrects equipment stoppage/mechanical breakdowns and repairs/replaces parts, motors, control devices, as needed.
  • Performs the installation, start-up, and tryout of all new manufacturing and plant equipment and systems.
  • Fabricate and repair equipment by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
  • Update and keep accurate records of machine programs, maintenance records, safety, and machine performance.
  • Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
  • Continuously improve equipment to make it as safe and efficient as possible.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • A high school education or equivalent with at least three years minimum experience in maintenance (progressive or transfer presses) or related technical field, preferably in a metal stamping environment.
  • Read, interpret and comprehend safety, operating and maintenance documents and procedures.
  • Ability to obtain/retain an Industrial Powered Lift Truck certification.
  • Ability to obtain/retain an Overhead Crane certification.
  • Ability to obtain/retain a Lock Out/Tag Out Authorization certification.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to ensure delivery requirements.
  • Lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Meet or exceed the job requirements of the job.
  • Identified candidates must be able to work overtime (daily, weekends and holidays).
