Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery/robotics used for welding steel components.
- Study blueprints, sketches, models, or specifications to plan sequence of operations for fabricating tools, dies or assemblies.
- Set up of robotic and resistance weld operations and Poke-yoke apparatus.
- Fixture modifications and adjustments
- Assist quality with first piece inspection process.
- Establish, maintain, and implement welding parameters to support production and Quality Assurance.
- Operate and program robotic weld cells.
- Assist in the training of the operators on all weld operations.
- Responsible for verifying and documenting changes to process parameters
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot automated welding cells and equipment.
- Assist Welding Engineer as needed
- Works to eliminate downtime. Identifies and eliminates sources of downtime and extraneous variation through root cause analysis and implementation of corrective measures with Engineering Teams.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

- Perform all assigned duties in a timely effort with integrity and strong effort.
- Keep assigned work areas clean and sanitary at all times while containing and reporting any and all workplace safety hazard or conditions.
- Ensure knowledge of and maintain compliance with the Quality Policy of Concord Tool & Manufacturing.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- A high school education or equivalent with at least three years minimum experience in welding maintenance or related technical field, preferably in a metal stamping environment.
- Read, interpret and comprehend safety, operating and maintenance documents and procedures.
- Ability to obtain/retain an Industrial Powered Lift Truck certification.
- Ability to obtain/retain an Overhead Crane certification.
- Ability to obtain/retain a Lock Out/Tag Out Authorization certification.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to ensure delivery requirements.
- Lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Meet or exceed the job requirements of the job.
- Identified candidates must be able to work overtime (daily, weekends and holidays).
