CONCORD
Quality Is Our Priority
Advancements
Concord Tool and Manufacturing has received IATF 16949 certification from NSF – ISR, an NSF company. The IATF 16949 standard, in conjunction with ISO 9001, describes quality management system requirements for the automotive industry and is applicable to organizations where manufacturing of customer – specified production parts, service parts, and/or accessory parts occur. Certification to IATF 16949 demonstrates Concord Tool and Manufacturing’s commitment to continual improvement and customer satisfaction.
Integrity
Weld Break Testing
Weld break inspections help to ensure resistance weld integrity, which can degrade due to numerous factors. We’re aware of these often unseen factors, and testing welds in this manner helps to ensure that substandard weldments do not make it onto a vehicle. Weld break tests measure the amount of force that a weld is designed to withstand before it fails.
Supplier Quality Manual
Concord's commitment to quality is paramount.
We maintain strong ties with our supply-base, and as required by our customers, we pass down those same customer requirements to our suppliers whom we depend upon. This also helps to provide the means and justification for ensuring the quality of our suppliers and maintaining cost.
Greater Accuracy
Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM)
Having a portable coordinate measurement machine (CMM) scanner allows us to quickly compare our actual product dimensional conformance to the customer design, much faster and with greater accuracy than traditional measurement methods. This allows us to make effective ship/no ship decisions and ensures greater customer satisfaction.
