Weld Operators load component parts into a weld machine in an efficient manner to support the production of customer parts. Assists in providing direct training to area operators as required. Advises supervisor or other appropriate contact in the event of issues affecting production of quality parts.

  • Verify that all required components for assembly are available and in your work area.
  • Inspect each weld to ensure proper location, form and shape.
  • Check parts for defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Monitor your work performance and make improvements to ensure quality parts.
  • Must shut down any process immediately and inform your Supervisor/quality inspector of defects or nonconformities

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds for short periods of time
  • Walking, standing, squatting, bending, lifting, kneeling, etc. are all required physical aspects of the job


  • Preplacement physical (NDOT), background and drug screening
  • M – F 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
  • Saturday’s as needed
  • You will be dependable and punctual
  • Ability to work independently and follow directions closely
