Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with Managers to plan and manage production tasks to improve processing time.
  • Work with Engineering to improve the assembly process (time and quality).
  • Review production plans to identify and report potential risks to Manager.
  • Plan and monitor material movement from start to finished product shipment.
  • Review inventory on hand to avoid shortages and excesses, including cycle counting.
  • Assist in processing customer orders and shipments according to the established schedule.
  • Review production work orders and accordingly establish priorities.
  • Monitor work orders and adjust schedules for timely delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on company objectives, production strategies and support activities.
  • Plan and monitor material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations.
  • Work with Planner/Scheduler to prepare job order documents and give timely approvals.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to complete work orders on-time and within customer specifications.
  • Communicate production updates to Managers and customers on regular basis.
  • Maintain data and schedules with summary reports to support business objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· At least three years of previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

· Experience with MES/ERP or accounting principles highly desired

· High School Diploma/GED

· Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential

· Should have a positive and professional attitude

· Available to work weekends and overtime as needed

· Capable of standing for extended periods of time

· Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for short periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $19.00 per hour
